Water poured into a glass. A selection of 4 microphones and 3 different pour rates but labelling has been lost! microphones were: beyer mce86, samson c03 on super-cardioid, behringer c2, akg c1000 on hyper-cardioid. All the same placement (selected for splash, glass ring and bubbles); behringer ub802 mixer and zoom h1 recorder.

I needed a good indoor fish tank for an office scene i was working on, and made one out of these sounds. You can hear the bubbles protruding from the tubes of the tank and the hum of the pump. Recorded with a 2 x micrtech gefell m296 omnis in ab on a dat. This is a 10 jear old recording;-)very gentle waves on the sand of the beach. You ca hear the bubbles of the salty foam bursting.
